The Queen of Hearts project draws inspiration from regal design principles, defined by clean lines, intentional symmetry, and a refined sense of balance throughout the landscape.

The upper dining terrace is framed by custom fire features and metal planters, establishing layered dimension and structure across the backyard. Moving downward, teak loungers and daybeds are positioned around an aquatic-blue pool, while an existing rain curtain is enhanced with climbing Clematis to soften and elevate the vertical plane. A marble-wrapped sundeck introduces modern loungers set within shallow water, creating a seamless connection between architecture and poolscape. Lighted stepping stones guide movement to a raised terrace with an additional lounge area, anchored by a granite-surround fire pit. A slender floating island table, paired with an integrated fire feature, provides a cohesive link between the spa and the entertainment cove.

A black arbor defines the outdoor kitchen, where layered plantings and structured forms create a sense of enclosure and comfort. The shaded entertainment pavilion features a custom wood-burning fireplace detailed in porcelain tile and metal, with integrated wood storage capped in granite and flanking dual TVs for balanced composition. Adjacent, a dedicated serving station supports a fully equipped cocktail bar designed for outdoor entertaining. In the rear corner, a wall of arborvitaes provide privacy for a half basketball court rendered in a bold black-and-white palette. A fully appointed outdoor bathroom with glass shower and floating vanity adds convenience and supports extended use of the space.

To complete the composition, the perimeter is articulated with a structured mix of Linden trees, metal screening, and Boxwood plantings, reinforcing the project’s geometric language while providing layered privacy. Together, these elements create a cohesive outdoor environment that is both highly refined and effortlessly livable.
